Our Pasture Raised Pork is the passion that started our farm! Our 2025 pork is our first year of pork production. We are working with a local UDSA processing plant with incredible reviews. We have a variety of pigs we are going to be processing this year priority sells go to those with deposits.

Sold individual cuts frozen & ready for thaw & cooking, for the best tasting pork you've ever had!

Our pork production is focused on quality & flavor. Our breeds are all highly rated & our pigs are given the most natural lives possible. They have over an acre of pasture that we have slowly been allowing Indiana nature to reclaim. We call it the "Pig Forest"! Happy animals taste the best!

We have both Lean & Lard pigs. Lean pigs make excellent tender meat ideal for cuts that you want to roast. Larg pigs make the most succulient, moist meat & bacon. Either way you are getting the best tasting pork you've ever had!

PIG BREEDS

Hereford

A lean pig breed at the top of our list. We were looking for a good whole hog roasting pig for our annual hog roast. We are super excited about everything we've heard of & experienced with this breed. The meat quality of Hereford pigs is attributed to their grazing and foraging behavior, which contributes to the flavor profile of the meat. It often has a rich, full flavor with a hint of sweetness and a redder color.

Idaho Pasture Pig

Another lean breed, newly developed in... you guessed it idaho! A very effiecent pasture grazing pig and rumored to consistently win blind taste tests! Idaho Pasture pig meat is considered to be delicious. Since this pig feeds primarily on grass, its meat has a deeper red color, is well-marbled, and is laced with battery fat. This grass diet also gives the pork a much sweeter flavor than you would get with most other pig breeds.

Kunkune

Technically a mini pig & the most cuddly, sweet little ladies on the farm. While it is going to be a challenge to see all of our animals go to the butcher, these ones may be the most difficult. KuneKune meat is famously delicious and well-marbled and works perfectly for various cuts, including roasts, sausages, and bacon. The meat has a buttery, rich, and tender texture.

Mangalitsa/ Tamworth cross

These are the breeds I am most excited about personally. I have dreamed of raising Mangalista pigs for years. These crosses have been said to be a best seller for all cuts. The pure mangalitsa has the most unqiue fat out of any pork on the planet, it literally melts in your hand while you are laying strips of bacon on the pan. It is the best tasting meat I have ever tasted & I cannot wait to share it with you! I never eat the fat on my chops, but this fat melts in your mouth & is full of flavor. You've truly never had anything like it. We still giggle with every first bite! Mangalitsa pork is widely considered the best tasting pork in the world. They are the most expensive, but they are incredibly worth the hype!
