Animal Rescue & Sanctuary
We care for a wide variety of species, offering rehoming & sanctuary placement.
Long before we became farmers (or had even met each other) we were involved in animal rescue, ate animal free diets, studied animal behavior & had a unique variety of pets (& foster failures). Aaron went on to focus on dog training & now offers private dog training as well as doggy daycare/ boarding on the farm. Megan went from working as a veterinary assistant to an obsession into the food world. While our lives may have taken our focuses elsewhere, our passion for animal rescue will always be part of us. I'm so grateful to be able to announce we are now able to offer temporary placement, rehoming & sanctuary care for those in need. We work with local rescues & sanctuaries across the US to provide placement to difficult to place animals. We accept all animals, on a case by case basis, except for those that require a permit in the state of Indiana. Surrenders are by appointment only & there is a surrender fee.

Some of the animals to join the farm through rescues include a pair of barn cats from Indy Neighborhood Cats & our Sulcata Tortoises from Eclecteri Rescue in Arizona. It wasn't until we decided to take on a long term foster dog, while her owner was in a woman's shelter, that we decided we had accidentally started an animal rescue! To no one's surprise!

Dancer (L3)
Born October 22, 2024
Huskey/ Poodle Mix
Male

Most timid of the group, we are looking for a home with older or no kids. He is also the most cuddly! He would do great with a family who wants to couch potato after a long walk! Gets along great with all other animals (even the pigs!) He also has the cutest beard hairs!

Shy at times but quick to play. Very well rounded little dude. He would do well with kids or without. Gets along great with all other animals (even the pigs!) I love his tiny lil' brows! He did not like Santa... ;)

It appears there is some lab in these pups because this little guy has the most lab like look & personality! He would do great with or without kids. He does great with all the animals here on the farm. Very quick to wag his tag, get the zoomies & prance & play! He has the cutest little white toes & tiniest white tip on his tail. His ears are also HUGE, I can't wait to see if he grows into them!
Luna (Puppy's Mom)
NEEDS FOSTER HOME.
We do not have pictures of the dad.
Huskey/ Cane Corso Mix and dad is a Standard Poodle. Luna is an incredibly sweet, gentle dog and an amazingly attentive mama dog. She was a therapy dog for the families oldest child. Luna came to us with her 3 week old puppies in the hope that she will be able to return to her home. The human family (mom & 2 kids) just left a domestic violence situation and were living out of their car, waiting for space in a shelter. They have since experienced a house fire and we are all grateful the dogs were safe here or they would not have made it out. The family is safe & in a new house, we are hoping Luna will get to rejoin them soon!

Great with other dog, she is submissive.
Excellent with Cats.
Nervous of some men. Great with kids.
